Flooding can be devastating to the natural environment and also to infrastructure. keeping floodwater at bay has becoming even more challenging as we see more extreme weather. One solution that many have been adopting is riprap stone.
The Solution.
Riprap stone is small boulders created from hard stone which is used to create a barrier from rivers or the sea. Our granite makes a great riprap material and was used extensively at the Exeter Flood Defence Scheme.
