Noise survey completed

Last week we completed noise surveys at three locations near Lantoom Quarry. The surveys took place over a four day period including two normal working days and a Saturday and Sunday. The days also recorded noise levels over varying weather conditions.

Automated noise measuring and recording equipment was placed at the three nearest residential properties to Lantoom Quarry in three different directions.

The objective of this work was to provide data to enable us to calculate the effect of future working of the quarry. This will enable our operations to be designed to ensure that they will not create any noise related problems for neighbours as the quarry develops.
